League leaders urged to snatch deal for Liverpool player – Upset rivals at same time

Earlier on Monday, TuttoSport reported Juventus will soon make a formal offer for Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa.

This was set to be communicated to the Reds, who would only accept a permanent transfer.

While Juve were initially offering a loan and an option to buy, they’re now putting forward an obligation to buy in their bid. That obligation would be based on certain conditions being met between now and the end of the season.

The Bianconeri’s pursuit of the Liverpool man appears to be making other clubs jealous.

League leaders Inter Milan have been told to sign the attacker by ex-Italy international Francesco Graziani.

He said, as relayed by FCInterNews: “There are always names of foreign players circulating, but sign Federico Chiesa; it’s an extraordinary opportunity that could present itself.

“A player who could change the balance of power by playing as a winger.”

Liverpool player could boost Inter Milan attack

The former forward claimed that signing Chiesa would change the face of Inter’s attack.

“I’m speaking to Marotta and Ausilio. Sign Federico Chiesa if you want to give Inter a new face.”

As of now, Inter Milan are more intent on improving their backline and the wing-back positions.

While Chiesa has played wing-back before, he is much better playing further forward. Juventus can offer him that opportunity, as they’re looking for attackers in January.

Beyond that, the Liverpool player has had a very good relationship with Luciano Spalletti since the latter’s time as Italy manager. That is why as things stand, the 28-year-old is much likelier to return to Turin.

Of course, any transfer will depend on Liverpool and what manager Aren Slot thinks. The Dutchman hasn’t started Chiesa on a regular basis, or given the Italian as many minutes as some fans feel he deserves.

With Mohamed Salah still away at AFCON, that situation would slow any Chiesa exit.
