Player now ‘considered transferable’ by Rangers and Philippe Clement – Multiple clubs lining up
by Sport Witness · Sport WitnessThere’s a claim in the Italian media that Cagliari are one of a number of clubs showing interest in Rangers attacker Cyriel Dessers.
The Belgian forward has been a regular in Philippe Clement’s starting eleven this season, but could still see himself being offloaded by the Ibrox club this month.
Rudy Galetti has reported on Cagliari’s pursuit for the Rangers player, and he says the Serie A side are evaluating whether to take concrete steps to sign the 30-year-old.
The Sardinian club will be looking to bolster their squad during this transfer window after finding themselves in a relegation battle.
Cagliari have been linked with Dessers before and have made previous attempts to sign him from Rangers. It seems again they are interested and could make their move this month.
It’s also claimed other clubs are monitoring the situation with the Rangers man and that he’s now ‘considered transferable’ by the Scottish Premiership club.
Dessers has made 27 appearances for Clement’s side this season, scoring 12 goals. He’s contracted to Rangers until June 2027.
