Nottingham Forest well placed to sign Breno Bidon after Manchester United links

by · Sport Witness

Breno Bidon has been a regular for Corinthians over the past few seasons, despite his young age. The 20-year-old is now attracting interest from Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United links.

The midfielder played over 50 times in the 2025 campaign. He also started in the Copa do Brasil final at the weekend, helping Corinthians beat Vasco da Gama over two legs. He is quite a versatile player who can play deep in midfield but also in the wide areas.

Calciomercato IT take a close look at the youngster, who can leave his club in January.

Serie A clubs were previously keen on Bidon but have now moved on. The report claims that Saudi teams have been trying to sign him, and there is also interest from Europe.

Nottingham Forest ‘in particular’ are keen, and Manchester United have been linked in Brazil.

Atletico Madrid and Sporting are also among the suitors, being no strangers to having South American players in their squad.

Nottingham Forest would have to pay €20m for the player, who could soon get an Italian passport. Despite that, Serie A clubs would struggle to sign him next month.

The report claims that Corinthians are in a ‘financial crisis’ and Sean Dyche’s side have been backed to take advantage of this.
