Lecce asking for final allowances on Patrick Dorgu – Reasons why Manchester United transfer may be delayed

by · Sport Witness

Two days ago, multiple claims from Italy stated Manchester United and Lecce have come to an agreement for Patrick Dorgu’s transfer.

On Wednesday, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported the Red Devils were sorting out the last details of the operation.

He also stated the 20-year-old was scheduled to travel to England on Thursday to complete a move to Manchester United.

The Denmark international hasn’t made a trip to Manchester so far and Salento Sport now suggest there could be a delay. At this point in time, the English club and Lecce haven’t sorted out the final details.

The two clubs are finalising the fee for €30m plus €7.5m bonuses. The report states the second part is what’s holding up the operation as the Serie A club want them to be easily achievable.

In short, Lecce want to be pretty sue they’re collecting the additional €7.5m bonuses in the future. To do this, they are likely discussing conditions with Manchester United. Once this is sorted out, Dorgu will receive the green light to travel to complete a move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United take on FCSB in the Europa League later today and Lecce face Parma in the league on Friday. Salento Sport suspect Dorgu’s move to the English club could be made official after these two matches.
