Tottenham and striker agree on summer exit – €25m transfer fee
by Pedro Reinert · Sport WitnessTottenham Hotspur and Richarlison have already agreed on the striker’s exit at the end of the season. Both sides believe that June 2026 is the right moment to move on.
Journalist Bruno Andrade revealed the information live on ESPN Brazil.
He explained that Spurs and the player reached this conclusion after internal talks. There is no pressure involved. Instead, the decision reflects a shared understanding about what comes next.
Tottenham have also set a clear valuation. According to the report, the club plan to ask for €25m to sell Richarlison in the next summer window. That figure will guide any future negotiations once the market opens.
From the club’s point of view, the decision brings clarity. Richarlison arrived in north London with high expectations. However, his spell at Spurs has lacked consistency. Injuries, form issues and competition for places all played a role. As a result, both parties now see a clean break as the sensible option.
The player agrees with that assessment. Richarlison understands that a new environment could help him regain rhythm and secure regular minutes. For now, the move remains planned rather than rushed.
Tottenham player expected to see increased interest
Richarlison is still under contract with Tottenham Hotspur. Even so, in Brazil, the expectation is that interest will increase closer to the summer, remembering that Spurs already defined both timing and price.
Given there’s an outline agreement, it would be no surprise to see intermediaries at work trying to tie the ends together.
The Brazilian will turn 29-years-of-age in May, and his Spurs contract expires in 2027. Taken both of those aspects into account, €25m looks a good fee for Tottenham and they may find clubs want to pay less.
