Padraig Harrington prize money as he earns massive six-figure pay-day for Senior US Open win

Padraig Harrington in the 2025 Senior US Open Champion after beating out the field at the Broadmoor Club in Colorado.

A final round of 67 left the Dubliner on 11-under for the tournament, one stroke clear of eventual runner-up Stewart Cink. Harrington and Cink traded the lead on numerous occasions this evening, with Harrington eventually edging past the 2009 Open Champion.

Cink had Harrington on the ropes at one point as he reeled off four Birdies on the spin. But Harrington showed his trademark mental toughness, making Birdie at a key time before parring the final seven holes to take home the win.

This win makes Harrington a two-time major champion on the PGA Champions Tour following on from his US Open win in 2022 added to his three major wins that were secured before he joined the PGA Champions Tour.

Harrington's victory should come as little surprise to fans following the senior tour as the 53-year-old has been in excellent form, going close at the PGA Championship last month.

And to make things even sweeter for Harrington, he is set to take home a paycheque for $800,000, not a bad week's work for the three
