What time and TV channel is Wales v England on in the Six Nations today?
by Michael Scully · Irish MirrorWales' losing streak is now up to 16 and the odds are against them breaking the downward spiral this afternoon. Imagine the scenes, however, if they were to do so.
The Welsh public fell back in love with their team with their performance against Ireland in round three, then a second half rally almost saw interim boss Matt Sherratt's side almost steal victory from a Scotland side that had been dominant at Murrayfield last week.
Unless the WRU can change his mind, Sherratt will return to the day job with Cardiff Blues after this final round game. You can bet the Welsh players will be doing everything in their power to make it a send-off he'll never forget - and perhaps even one that could change his mind about committing to Test level rugby.
And there are signs of improvement - they have lost their last three games by fewer than 10 points, having lost the three previous to that by margins of over 30 points.
"I’ve loved it," said Sherratt. "It’s been brilliant for me and my family. That’s been a massive influence for me, having my sons at the game. Seeing them enjoy it is massive. It's been a pleasure to do.
"Getting to know the new players. Some of the boys I’ve coached before. But it’s been great coaching a new bunch of lads. The staff and the players here, I know we haven’t had the results, but there’s a huge amount of effort and positivity. It's been brilliant."

Wales are 16/5 to win, England are 1/4 to win, the draw is 25/1
Romantic
That's the romantic angle but the more pragmatic previewer would point out that England are big favourites to keep the pressure on France, who are looking to secure the title by beating Scotland in the day's last game.
Borthwick will fancy that his side's poor run away from home will end here. They have lost their last three on the road - the most since 2007 - and he needs that to change. After wins against France, Scotland and Italy, even as unconvincing as the first two of that trio were, England should have enough in the tank to get the job done.
It will be interesting to see if the Red Rose can win with the bonus point tacked on - the last time they scored four or more tries in Cardiff was in their first visit to the Principality Stadium 24 years ago.
