What time and TV channel is Wales v Ireland on in the Six Nations today?
by Michael Scully · Irish MirrorIs there a chance that Ireland can be ambushed after beating England and Scotland, and with the chance to claim a 15th Triple Crown well within their grasp?
Perhaps so, but it's a very slim one. Had Warren Gatland remained in charge of Wales after a record-breaking 14th Test defeat a fortnight ago then there would be no feeling of uncertainty or unknown about this latest meeting of the Celtic cousins.
However, installing the attack-minded Cardiff Blues head coach Matt Sherratt has added a touch of jeopardy to the occasion, and he has turned to some tried and trusted names in a bid to find some stability.
It still feels like far too wide a gap to cross for the home side. Yes, Ireland have made seven changes to their line-up, they are without their calming captain Caelan Doris and have two players making their first Six Nations starts in Jamie Osborne and Thomas Clarkson.
But Wales have made eight changes themselves, with Gareth Anscombe, Max Llewellyn, Tommy Reffell and WillGriff John among those restored to the line-up - and they are at such a low ebb that it's hard to see a way back in the short term.

Shock
Sherratt wants to ensure that happens by the end of this championship but with a week on the training ground with his squad, surely it is about damage limitation today.
Ireland have claimed victory in seven of the last eight encounters with the Welsh, including the last three in a row - and they were by more than 20 points.
It would be a shock of the highest nature for the result to go against them here and the visitors are the hottest of favourites to win back to back fixtures in Cardiff for the first time since 2007-09.
