This hat-trick from Dembele is only the sixth first-half hat-trick in FIFA World Cup history.
And it's only the first hat-trick at a World Cup in the first half since Oleg Salenko's treble for Russia against Cameroon in Stanford at USA 1994. On that occasion, which was also the third matchday of a group stage, Salenko later added two more goals in a 6-1 rout of Cameroon.
Can Dembele score a few more goals? He did run into the dressing room like he was getting ready for war. So don't rule it out.

France coach Didier Deschamps will return home from the World Cup following the death of his mother and will miss his team's final group game against Norway, the French football federation said Tuesday.
The FFF said Deschamps learned of his mother's death on Tuesday morning and that he is going back to France to attend her funeral.
“At this incredibly painful time, we wish the head coach great strength and assure him of everyone's support,” the FFF said, adding that assistant coach Guy Stéphan will take temporary charge of the squad — including for Friday's game in Massachusetts — until Deschamps returns.
The federation did not say when Deschamps was expected to return to the United States.

What Norway took to USA for World Cup: 400kg fish, 180kg cheese and 3 chefs
At the start of the FIFA World Cup, a jawdropping number made headlines around the world: the Norway football team, reports said, had airlifted 1,000 kilograms of food from Norway for the World Cup. Among other things, this included oranges that the Norwegians had reportedly flown in. Now, one of the three chefs who is in the USA with the Norwegian team has debunked these reports.
Norway football team’s head chef Aron Espeland has told The Associated Press in an interview that the amount of food Norway had flown into the USA for their football contingent is actually about 580 kilograms, just over half of what was reported initially.
Espeland broke down what constituted 580 kilograms: 300 kilograms of Norwegian salmon and trout, 100 kilograms of halibut, 80 kilograms of Norwegian brown cheese, and 100 kilograms of Jarlsberg cheese.

France vs Norway World Cup LIVE: How Norway football fans turned to their Viking history
For about an hour on Sunday night, Times Square became a Norwegian fjord. Thousands of Norway football fans in bright red jerseys had invaded midtown Manhattan. They congregated on the Red Steps, waited for a cue on the drums from Ole Froystad, a man in a Viking hat, and then in unison let out a guttural chant of ‘ro’ (pronounced ruuh) while mimicking a rower’s motion. Someone blasted a Norwegian song called Vikingblod, and fans joined along.
After Boston, the Viking Row and Vikingblod had come to New York.
Norway is playing in its first World Cup in 28 years. At their first stop in Boston, a clip of fans doing the Viking Row on an escalator at South Station went viral. Since then the celebration has been unmissable. Fans have done it on the streets of Boston and in cafes, where Scotland fans joined in. The Norwegian Prime Minister, on a short visit to the US, did it at an event. In New York, before the Times Square gathering, the sounds of ruuh echoed on the Hudson River when a group of Norwegian fans got on a ferry, sat on the hull and started rowing. Then they did it on the floor of a metro train.
