UFC Seattle weigh-in results: Henry Cejudo official for pivotal main event duel with Song Yadong

by · MMA FIGHTING

Henry Cejudo is ready for what could be a do-or-die moment.

The former two-division champion successfully made weight for Saturday’s UFC Seattle headliner, in which he takes on fellow bantamweight veteran Song Yadong. At Friday’s official weigh-ins, Cejudo weighed in at 135 pounds, while Song made use of the one-pound allowance for a non-title bout and came in at 136.

Cejudo, currently No. 10 at bantamweight in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, seeks his first win since 2020 after coming back from retirement in 2023, while Song (15) can score the biggest win of his career if he can knock off “The King of Cringe.”

The co-main event also features a pair of ranked fighters as top-15 middleweights Anthony Hernandez and Brendan Allen face off. This is a rematch of a January 2018 encounter that took place at a Legacy Fighting Alliance show, where Hernandez won a unanimous decision over Allen to claim a vacant 185-pound belt.

Hernandez cut it close, coming in at the very end of the two-hour weigh-in window and needing to strip down and be covered up with a box to successfully hit the 186-pound limit. Allen also weighed in at 186 pounds.

All 24 fighters competing at Saturday’s event at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle successfully made weight. Ceremonial weigh-ins are set to take place at 7 p.m. ET.
