Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2 weigh-in results: Headliners locked in for thrilling grudge match

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol are ready to face off once again.

The rematch goes down Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and both competitors were on point at Friday’s weigh-ins, with the undisputed champion Beterbiev weighing in at 175 pounds and Bivol a shade lighter at 174.1. The two previously fought in Riyadh this past October, when Beterbiev won a majority decision after a tense 12-round contest.

Beterbiev’s WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO and The Ring light heavyweight titles are on the line as Bivol looks to take his undisputed status.

A stacked lineup took a hit earlier this week with Shakur Stevenson and Joseph Parker losing their originally scheduled opponents, Floyd Schofield and Daniel Dubois, respectively. Josh Padley steps in for Schofield to challenge for Stevenson’s WBC lightweight title, while heavyweight Martin Bakole looks to land the biggest win of his career as he replaces Dubois on two days’ notice.

As of this writing, Bakole is yet to weigh in due to travel delays, which resulted in Parker playfully facing off with Queesberry Promotions boss Frank Warren.

All other fighters competing Saturday successfully made weight, including title fight competitors Carlos Adames and Hamzah Sheeraz, Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Israil Madrimov, Zhilei Zhang and Agit Kabayel, and Joshua Buatsi and Callum Smith.
