UFC Seattle live blog: Brendan Allen vs. Anthony Hernandez 2

This is the UFC Seattle live blog for Brendan Allen vs. Anthony Hernandez 2, the middleweight co-main event this Saturday at Climate Pledge Arena.

Still just 29 years old, Allen went on a tear through the middleweight division over the past few years, stringing together seven straight wins following his loss to Chris Curtis in 2021, including a win over Curtis in their rematch. Unfortunately for Allen, he was unable to move to eight in a row, losing to Nassourdine Imavov in September. Now, Allen gets a chance to get back on the winning track and avenge another loss when he runs things back with Hernandez.

Hernandez first met Allen back in 2018, beating him to claim the vacant LFA middleweight title. From there, “Fluffy” made the move to the UFC where after an up-and-down start, Hernandez has since won six in a row, five by stoppage. Now Hernandez has the chance to jump into the middleweight top 10 with a win on Saturday.
