‘His nose is sideways’: Pros react to Randy Brown’s nasty knockout of Nicolas Dalby at UFC Kansas City

Randy Brown and Nicolas Dalby have been in plenty of intense battles in their fighting careers, but their scrap at UFC Kansas might take the cake.

The welterweight veterans gave each other the business for a full round before Brown pulled away in the second and scored a highlight-reel knockout. Prior to the finishing sequence, Brown had already done plenty of damage to Dalby, bloodying the Dane’s nose and causing it to temporarily change shape.

Despite the damage, Dalby continued to fight tooth-and-claw until Brown was able to put him down for good.

Fighters were blown away by Brown’s win and Dalby’s toughness, with UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad calling the knockout blow “Hollowayesque” and Tatiana Suarez reacting in amazement at Dalby’s toughness.

“Dalby didn’t even flinch and his nose is sideways,” Suarez wrote on Twitter,
