Jake Paul threatens legal action to ‘pigs’ — including Piers Morgan — who lie about his fights

by · MMA FIGHTING

Jake Paul is done with the lies and accusations.

Following his decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., media personality Piers Morgan criticized Paul for the performance, calling it an “unwatchable farce” and “staged,” while, of course, trying to promote his own platform where he had recently trolled Paul on air.

That led to Paul’s co-promoter for Most Valuable Promotions Nakisa Bidarian responding to Morgan, saying that the company will be exploring options, including legal action for Morgan, or anyone else accusing Paul of fight fixing. Paul then doubled down on that threat.

“After years of letting it slide as just ‘haters being haters”’ I have asked my team to vigorously go after anyone who makes up lies about my boxing career,” Paul wrtoe. “Expect to get served you pigs.”

Paul has been hearing claims and accusations about his fights being fixed or staged since he broke into the sport. The peaks of those claims came following his brutal knockout of former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in their second meeting in December 2021, and more recently, his decision win over former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson this past November.

Over his past eight bouts Paul picked up seven wins including victories over former UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva, along with past UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Mike Perry.
