Paul vs. Chavez Jr. weigh-in results: Jake Paul, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on weight for showdown
by Guilherme Cruz · MMA FIGHTINGJake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. have made weight for their boxing main event Saturday in Anaheim, Calif.
Paul, a 11-1 boxer who steps into the ring seven months after scoring a win over heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, cuts back to his original weight to face 39-year-old Chavez Jr., a veteran of 61 boxing appearances.
The young YouTuber-turned-boxer made weight for the match at 199.4 pounds, just one pound over Chavez Jr.
Former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm also hit the target for her clash with Yolanda Vega, a match that tops the undercard. Back to the squared circle for the first time since 2013, Holm made weight at 136.6 pounds, with Vega stepping on the scale at 136.8.
The official weigh-ins had a brief moment of scare when Tevin Farmer weighed over the limit for his 135-pound showdown with Floyd Schofield, but only needed a few minutes to trim down 0.4 pounds and hit the target and make it all official.
