‘This is a dog fight’: Dustin Poirier, other pros react to wild Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn fight

Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn delivered a fight worthy of it’s insane build, going 12 wild rounds in London. In the end, Eubank got his hand raised.

Eubank defeated Benn via unanimous decision to pick up a victory over his heated rival. All three judges scored the bout 116-112 for Eubank in a fight, and performance, that had the world of boxing talking.

The pace throughout the fight was frenetic, with both guys emptying the tank as the fight continued to go on. Eventually, Eubank was able to get ahead — despite a cut opening up over his right eye — in the latter rounds to pick up the massive win. The chaos for the build continued through fight week with Eubank missing weight by .05 pounds on Friday, and getting fined $500,000.

Eubank was not fined any more money after getting under the fight-day threshold of 170 pounds on Saturday morning.
