Hakimi crowned African Player of the Year

He beat off stiff competition from Mohammed Salah and Victor Osimen to win the prestigious player of the year award.
Hakimi in the season under review won the Champions League and also played an instrumental role in Morocco’s top display at the last World Cup.
Other winners on the night included Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco / Al Hilal), who won the woman player of the year.
