Ghana U20 defender Precious Asante says the Black Princesses are fully prepared for their crucial final Group C game against France at the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The teenager believes the team has put its previous result behind it and is focused on producing a strong performance to secure victory and keep their tournament hopes alive.

“Training was very good. We are all focused, and we are well prepared for our game tomorrow. We are taking our last game behind us and focused on our next game with the front team. And we are hoping to dominate more and win the match,” Precious Asante told the GFA Media Team.

She also appealed to Ghanaians to continue supporting the team and promised that the players would give their all on matchday.

“They should support us as they are doing, and they shouldn’t lose hope because we are about to make history, and we are about to qualify from the Wu Stage and continue to the stages ahead,” Asante said.

Ghana started their Group C campaign with a 3-0 defeat to Ecuador before bouncing back with a 3-1 win over South Korea.

The Black Princesses will face France on Saturday, September 12, with a place in the knockout stage at stake.
