Black Stars suffer painful home defeat to The Gambia

The result leaves Ghana without a point after their opening two matches.
Ghana had made the perfect start. Ernest Nuamah opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 27th minute before Felix Afena-Gyan doubled the lead in the 33rd minute.
The Black Stars appeared to be in control, but The Gambia fought back before half-time.
Mohamed Badamosi pulled one goal back from the penalty spot in the 37th minute before Omar Colley equalised in the 42nd minute.
After the break, the Scorpions took control of the game.
Ebrima Colley scored twice, first in the 68th minute and again in the first minute of added time, to complete a stunning 4-2 victory for The Gambia.
The defeat leaves Ghana without a point after their opening two matches of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
