An eye witness said “It’s so sad how the accident happened. There was an Isuzu KB250 single cab pick up coming from Nyanga carrying some passengers(4 in front seat including driving) and some at the back(pan).
“It tried to overtake an Inter Africa bus at a curve which is about 200m from St. Faith’s High School turn off. By so doing it encroached into Alois Bunjira’s lane at high speed and the rest is history. 😢😢.
“One person died on the spot, and another one pronounced dead upon arrival at Rusape General Hospital, with several injured (some critical).
“And we established that this Isuzu motorist who was at fault actually circumvented a police roadblock which was a few kilometers from the accident scene. 🙄.
