Metallica has officially announced a new series of 2027 North American stadium dates, extending the band’s massive M72 World Tour. Promoted by Live Nation, the new leg kicks off on May 8, 2027, at BC Place in Vancouver, hitting 12 new cities across the American Southwest, Midwest, and beyond before wrapping up on June 19, 2027, at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
The upcoming stadium run follows the heavy metal icons’ Life Burns Faster residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, which runs from October 1, 2026, through March 13, 2027. Joining Metallica as support on all 12 newly revealed North American stops will be Limp Bizkit and Avatar.
As with previous legs of the tour, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will benefit local charities through Metallica’s philanthropic organization, the All Within My Hands foundation. The non-profit supports workforce education through the Metallica Scholars Initiative, combats food insecurity, and provides critical disaster relief services, with all administrative costs covered directly by the band.
Tickets for the newly announced M72 World Tour dates will go on general sale starting Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10 AM local time via Metallica’s official site, with Fan Club pre-sales launching on Monday, September 21, 2026, alongside exclusive presales for Citi cardmembers and Verizon Shine customers.
