Here's what to know about the women's NCAA title oddsboard:

The Favorites: With the bracket dropping, defending champion UConn is still the heavy favorite and has been since the beginning of the season. In the 2024-25 title game, current Huskies star Sarah Strong put up 24 points and 15 rebounds, and she has taken that momentum into this season, averaging 18.5 points and 7.6 rebounds. UConn finished the regular season 34-0 and ranked No. 1 in the country. It gets UTSA in the first round of the Tournament, and the 2-seed in its region is Vanderbilt. Second on the list and second in the nation is 31-1 UCLA. The Bruins made the Final Four last season, falling 85-51 to UConn in the semifinals.

Familiar Faces: At third and fourth on this list are Texas and South Carolina, respectively. The Longhorns surged up the board after blowing past the Gamecocks to take the SEC title. In the national semifinals last season, though, the Longhorns were bounced by South Carolina, before the Gamecocks fell to UConn in the title game by 23. In short, can anyone stop Geno Auriemma's squad?
