Asian Games Day 5: Roshibina, relay team deliver silver; Seema leads bronze rush

India added five medals on Day 5, with athletics contributing Seema Kumari's 10,000m bronze and silver in the mixed 4x400m relay. Shooting, wushu and rowing also added to the haul, while India advanced across hockey, kabaddi, squash and table tennis.

India enjoyed a productive Day 5 at the Asian Games, adding five medals across athletics, shooting, wushu and rowing. Athletics opened its medal account in style, with Seema Kumari winning bronze in the women’s 10,000m before the mixed 4x400m relay team secured silver.

Shooting pair Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal claimed bronze in mixed team skeet, while Roshibina Devi added silver in wushu and Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won bronze in rowing. Away from the medal events, India also made progress across hockey, kabaddi, squash, table tennis, boxing and athletics, setting up an action-packed finish to the day.
