Tamil Nadu's under-19 men’s team emerged victorious in the 2024-25 Cooch Behar Trophy after a hard-fought final against Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Although the match ended in a draw, Tamil Nadu secured the title due to their first-innings lead.
Gujarat won the toss and elected to bat first, but Tamil Nadu’s bowlers responded strongly, restricting them to 380 runs. The highlight of Gujarat’s first innings was a brilliant knock by Maulyarajsinh Chavda, who scored 161 runs. His effort anchored the Gujarat innings, but the Tamil Nadu bowlers, led by their disciplined attack, made sure to limit Gujarat's total.
