Virat Kohli, Rajeev Shukla meet Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in Delhi

Virat Kohli accompanied BCCI's Rajeev Shukla to meet the country's Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar in New Delhi. Virat met with the Vice-President after Day 1 of Delhi's Ranji Trophy match vs Railways.

Virat Kohli accompanied Indian Cricket Board's Rajeev Shukla to meet Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar on Thursday, January 30. The senior India batter is currently in New Delhi, playing the final round of the Ranji Trophy group-stage. Kohli is playing under Ayush Badoni for the Delhi team in their match against the Railways.

A massive crowd arrived at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Day 1 of the four day match. Kohli took the field in Delhi's first innings with the ball on Thursday, where they bowled out Railways for 241 runs on a pitch that assisted the pacers.

Kohli was not required to bat on Thursday, as Delhi closed the day on 41/1 in 10 overs. A massive crowd thronged to the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday, to get a glimpse of Virat Kohli. The batter was constantly engaging with the crowd, on his return to the Indian domestic tournament. The crowd was buoyed by Kohli's acknowledgement of their chants and remained high on energy throughout the day's play.
