Paris Saint-Germain extend Luis Enrique's contract to 2030, renew deals of five players

Paris Saint-Germain have extended men's head coach Luis Enrique's contract until 2030 and agreed new deals with five first-team players, the French champions announced on Friday.

Paris Saint-Germain have rewarded Luis Enrique for delivering the most successful spell in the club's history by extending the head coach's contract until 2030, while also tying down five key players to new deals.

Luis Enrique, 56, has signed a three-year extension after joining PSG in July 2023. His previous contract was due to expire at the end of this season.

The Spaniard has won 13 trophies with PSG, including three Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League crowns. He guided the club to their first European title with a 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the 2025 Champions League final, before leading them past Arsenal in last season's final.

Luis Enrique, who previously managed Barcelona and the Spain national team, also led PSG to six trophies during the 2024-25 season and took them to the final of the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

The announcement came before Friday evening's Ligue 1 home fixture against Monaco.

Four PSG players, Joao Neves, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu, have signed contract extensions until 2031. Fabian Ruiz has agreed a new deal until 2028, with an option for a further year.

Portugal international Neves has made 100 appearances for PSG since joining from Benfica in 2024, while Ecuador centre-back Pacho has played 105 times since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in the same year.

Beraldo joined PSG from Sao Paulo in January 2024, while France Under-21 international Mayulu came through the club's academy after joining at the age of 12.

Ruiz, 30, moved to PSG from Napoli in 2022 and has made 171 appearances for the club, scoring 16 goals and providing 28 assists.

PSG have drawn both of their opening Ligue 1 matches this season ahead of Friday's meeting with Monaco. They will begin their Champions League title defence against Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday.
