New Delhi: Pakistan has decided to boycott its final group clash against UAE that was today at 8PM IST. Today’s match is the 10th match of the Asia Cup 2025. This decision to boycott the match comes after the fallout from the recent handshake controversy that involved referee Andy Pycoft, reported Pakistan’s Geo News.
According to the above mentioned source, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed the Men’s Cricket Team to remain at their hotel. The players were instructed not to travel to the stadium.
The players have been advised by PCB to stay in their respective rooms, mentioned the source.
It is expected that a press conference regarding the situation will be addressed shortly.
