Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid has spoken up on Sanju Samson and Rajasthan Royals management rift. He has strongly dismissed rumours and has reported it to be baseless.

Rahul Dravid has strongly dismissed rumours about rift between Sanju Samson and Rajasthan Royals management. He said it during a press conference ahead of RR’s IPL 2025 clash against Lucknow Super Giants. David said that it is all baseless and assured that team is united as its goal is to reach playoffs.

Head coach of RR Rahul Dravid addressed the media in the pre-match press conference. He dismissed the claims of internal conflict. The controversy began from a video circulating online in which Samson was not seen taking part in a team meeting while Dravid interacted with other players and staff. This video led to speculation of discord about Samson’s captaincy.

David stated in the press conference, “I don’t know where these reports coming from. Sanju and I are on the same page.” He further said, “He’s a very integral part of our team. He’s involved in each and every decision and discussion.”

The coach also highlighted that the team is completely focused on the matches and are aiming for the play offs for now.
