Westmeath have completed a major shock in the Leinster Championship as they have been crowned champions after beating Dublin in extra-time. 

Davy Byrne and Senan Baker exchanged points in the closing stages of normal time as it finished 22-points all after 70 minutes at Croke Park.

Westmeath took control in extra time and ended up 2-28 to 26 winners over the Dubs.

Armagh and Monaghan are squaring off in the Ulster Football final at Clones where it has kicked off.


Waterford are 16 points to 15 up at Limerick in the early stages of the second-half in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
