What will happen if CSK vs SRH IPL 2026 match gets washed out?

With over 50% probability of precipitation in the evening hours in Chennai (as per AccuWeather),  a full game of 20 overs per side looks bleak. But there could be no game also if the rain aggravates. In such case, both teams will share a point each. As a result, a point to SRH will take them to 15 points as they look to seal the playoffs berth; however, a point for CSK will get them to 13 points, creating a blow to their playoffs hope.

Moreover, with the maximum possible result for CSK to reach to 15 remaining, this leaves their qualification in the hands of other team results, including PBKS, RR, and DC.
