The wait is finally over for Indian esports fans—Nodwin Gaming has officially announced the schedule, format, and groups for the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Masters Series Season 4, also known as BGMS 2025. The tournament kicks off on August 18 and will run until September 14, bringing together some of the biggest names in BGMI esports for a month-long showdown filled with intense competition and historic firsts. This season marks a special milestone in Indian esports, as for the very first time, the tournament will feature an all-female team, signaling a more inclusive era for competitive BGMI.

BGMS Season 4 Tournament Format and Schedule

BGMS 2025 will unfold in multiple stages, testing teams at every level:

League Stage (August 18 – September 7) – The League Stage is divided into Masters Series and Challengers Series:

  • Masters Series
  • 24 invited professional teams will compete.
  • Top 4 teams from overall standings directly qualify for the Grand Finals.
  • Teams ranked 5th–12th will advance to the Semi-finals.
  • The bottom 12 teams will head to the Playoffs.
  • Challengers Series
  • 24 teams battle here, including 4 all-female squads making their debut in BGMS.
  • Only the top 4 teams qualify for the Playoffs, while others are knocked out.

BGMS Season 4 Playoffs (September 9)

  • Features 16 teams (12 from Masters + 4 from Challengers).
  • Only the top 8 qualify for the Semi-finals; the rest are eliminated.

Semi-finals (September 10 – 11)

  • 16 teams battle it out (8 from Masters Series + 8 from Playoffs).
  • Top 12 teams move on to the Grand Finals.

BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 4: Grand Finals (September 12 – 14)

  • The ultimate face-off among 16 teams.
  • Includes the 4 directly qualified teams from Masters Series and the 12 semi-finalists.
  • Teams will clash for the championship title and lion’s share of INR 1.5 crore.
