After two losses in a row, Gujarat Titans have won their first game of IPL 2026. Despite KL Rahul’s 92-run knock and David Miller’s 20-ball 41, GT pipped Delhi Capitals by 1 run. Prasidh Krishna defended 13 runs in the last over. Rashid Khan was the star with the ball with 3/17. Earlier, Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler and Washington Sundar hit fifties to help them post 210/4. The win helped them climb to sixth spot. DC remained 4th with 4 points from three games. With a hat-trick of wins, Rajasthan Royals reclaimed the top spot with 6 points and a net run rate of 2.403.
Punjab Kings, with five points from three games and 0.637 NRR, are placed second. Another unbeaten team Royal Challengers Bengaluru are third with four points from two games and a NRR of 2.501. Delhi Capitals are also unbeaten, but they are behind RCB on the NRR (1.170).
Chennai Super Kings have had a hat-trick of losses and are placed at the bottom of the table. They are the only team without a win.
