Rishabh Pant is not performing up to his worth in IPL 2025. He was bought for a record price of ₹27 crore in the IPL auction.

Rishabh Pant became the most expensive buy in Indian Premier League (IPL) history. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) purchased him with high expectations, hoping he would be their best player. However, the wicketkeeper-batter has disappointed the team with his performance in the last three games, scoring only 17 runs.

LSG bought Rishabh Pant for the highest price in the IPL auction at Rs. 27 crore. The LSG owner had given him the responsibility of leading the side to take the place of KL Rahul, whom they had not retained ahead of the IPL 2025 due to poor leadership.
