Members of the West Indies cricket team will sport black armbands during the IND vs WI 2nd Test in New Delhi to pay tribute to the late Bernard Julien. The former Windies cricketer, who was a part of the World Cup-winning team in 1975, passed away last week. West Indies are bowling first in the contest at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Friday.

West Indies skipper Roston Chase revealed at the toss that the team are making two changes to their playing XI for the IND vs WI 2nd Test. Brandon King and Johann Layne have been replaced by Tevim Imlach in and Anderson Phillip in the line-up. The team will be eyeing to bounce back after being handed an inning and 140-run thrashing in the IND vs WI 1st Test in Ahmedabad.
“We were batting first as well, the pitch looks dry, so not too worried. Obviously, we had some meetings and we had some deep discussions as batters. And something that came up in meetings, we want to really try to bat the whole day and bat 90 overs. That’s something that we’re really looking forward to doing,” Chase said.
