Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal continued their merry run in IPL 2025 with another dominant show on Thursday. Batting first in the RCB vs RR clash, the left-right duo continued their partnership from Jaipur to Bengaluru. Padikkal and Kohli added 95 for the second wicket, putting them just behind Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan as IPL 2025’s most consistent run scoring pair.

Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal have built a strong top-order partnership for RCB this season. The duo were in full flow in the RCB vs RR game on Thursday. After the dismissal of Phil Salt, Padikkal joined Virat in the middle and the duo instantly looked in rhythm. The left-hander was the aggressor of the two, while Kohli continued to pace his innings well.

The legendary RCB talisman reached his half-century in 31 balls. Padikkal was a shade quicker, managing so in just 26. The duo put on 95 for the second wicket in just 51 balls, setting up the platform for RCB’s 200+ total. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal incidentally put on an unbeaten 83-run partnership in the reverse fixture to guide RCB to win in Jaipur.
