Ghanaians have expressed widespread frustration after the national broadcaster, GTV, failed to air the highly anticipated World Cup 2026 qualifier between Ghana and Mali on Monday, 8 September, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars, needing crucial points to maintain their lead in Group I, faced a formidable Malian side, but fans were left in the dark when the live broadcast never materialised.

The disappointment began when GTV posted a brief message on their official Facebook page stating: “Ghana vs Mali – Standby for updates.”
While the broadcaster likely intended to provide updates on the match, the vague statement was met with frustration by supporters who had expected live coverage of the game.
