While Arsenal fans would hope for a title breakthrough after many years, they are expected to fall short once again.

Liverpool are predicted to dominate under their new manager Arne Slot while Manchester United's struggles show no sign of easing.

Last season in the English top flight, an intense race saw the Gunners, the Reds and Manchester City all in contention for the league trophy.

Ultimately, the Citizens clinched a historic fourth consecutive Premier League title, narrowly edging Arsenal to the cup by just two points.

Liverpool secured third place and Aston Villa claimed the final Champions League spot, with Manchester United finishing a lowly eighth.

Supercomputer predicts Premier League's top four

According to GiveMeSport, the latest projections foresee a shift in the power balance as the Premier League heads towards a tense conclusion.

Pep Guardiola's City is predicted to end in third place with only 73 points - their worst EPL finish since his debut season as manager in 2016/2017.

According to the supercomputer, Coach Slot will lead Liverpool to the title in his first season, finishing 17 points clear of second-placed Arsenal.

Despite high hopes for Mikel Arteta’s squad to claim their first league crown in two decades, injuries and inconsistency could hold them back.

Nottingham Forest is tipped for a remarkable resurgence by securing a Champions League spot, led by Chris Wood and a reinvigorated squad.

Supercomputer's EPL predictions: Europa League places

According to the supercomputer, Newcastle United will claim the first Europe League spot with a fifth-place finish.

Enzo Maresca's Chelsea are expected to hold onto sixth place, finishing above Brighton and Hove Albion.

Bournemouth is predicted to round out the top eight, securing European football for the first time in club history.

Aston Villa and Fulham are set to complete the top 10, with both clubs expected to land respectable point tallies.

Premier League predictions: the mid-table teams

Crystal Palace, led by Oliver Glasner, are predicted to narrowly miss the top 10, finishing in 11th with 55 points.

West Ham United, under Graham Potter, are tipped to stabilise their season and secure 12th place with 47 points.

Brentford’s inconsistent form could see them finish 13th while Manchester United will slump to a worst-ever finish.

Ruben Amorim's charges are predicted to finish 14th, ending a massive 51 points behind expected leaders Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur are also set to wrap up the season in 16th - their lowest points total in Premier League history.

Supercomputer's EPL forecast: the relegation battle

The magic number for Premier League survival is often said to be 40 points, but the Supercomputer predicts 35 would be enough this season.

Unfortunately for Leicester City, they are expected to finish with just 22 points, while Wolverhampton could secure safety under Vitor Pereira.

Southampton, with only two wins in 26 games, are set for relegation as are Ipswich Town, whose rise from League One ends in 18th place.

Mohamed Salah continues Liverpool scoring heroics

YEN.com.gh also reported that Mohamed Salah has moved up to third on Liverpool’s all-time top-scorers list with a 242nd goal.

The Egyptian superstar surpassed legend Gordon Hodgson, with only Roger Hunt (285) and Ian Rush (346) now ahead of him.

Salah achieved this milestone for the club in 389 appearances after joining Liverpool in 2017 from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina.
