The FIFA Club World Cup is officially coming to an end on Sunday, bringing with it a significant financial boost for the clubs advancing to the next round.
Following a slow start, the tournament heated up with teams and players delivering captivating performances that have grabbed global attention.

In mid-June, 32 clubs set off on a quest for glory, with the ultimate prize being FIFA’s brand-new Club World Cup trophy.
Unlike the previous format, the revamped competition is now held every four years and features more teams vying for the prestigious title.

The new trophy itself is full of flair, complete with a key that unlocks it, and was proudly unveiled by FIFA president Gianni Infantino to U.S. President Donald Trump.
But the trophy isn’t the only prize; FIFA allocated over $1 billion in total prize money for the tournament.
The field has narrowed from 32 to 16, then to 8, 4, and now just two clubs remain: Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, who will battle for the crown in Sunday’s final in New York.
PSG to face Chelsea in Club World Cup final
Fighting it out for global glory, European champions Paris Saint-Germain will meet Premier League powerhouse Chelsea in Sunday's Club World Cup final.
After the Blues beat two Brazilian sides to reach the decider, and PSG impressively knocked out a pair of heavyweights, the teams are set to convene in New Jersey
Both clubs are set to earn massive money for their performance and ability to reach the final.
PSG, Chelsea set to fight for $40 million prize in final
The final will be played at MetLife Stadium in the United States, with the winners taking home $40 million and the runners-up receiving $30 million, in addition to their previous prizes for participation and winning matches.
If PSG wins, it will take home an estimated $153.815M; if Chelsea wins, it will earn an estimated $145.625M.
