Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has found himself in hot water again after receiving a red card in an Istanbul derby game against Galatasaray on Wednesday evening.

The Portuguese trainer's side lost to their sworn rivals 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the Turkish Cup in what was a heated contest, which ended with three players sent off the pitch.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the match was when the former Chelsea manager appeared to pull the nose of Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk.

In a video shared on social media, the Special One stretched his hands towards his colleague from behind, resulting in Buruk falling to the ground.

Mourinho was red-carded for his actions and did not appear at the post-match presser as his time in Turkey continues to be riddled by issues.

In one of the meetings between the two sides, the Portuguese gaffer was accused of racism, with Mourinho serving several games in the stands.

A decision is yet to be taken following his latest conduct but it seems the Champions League-winning coach would surely suffer harsh penalties.

Meanwhile, Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen netted a brace to hand Galatasaray the victory despite Sebastien Syzmanski pulling one goal back.

Galatasaray coach breaks silence on Mourinho incident

Okan Buruk, the manager of victorious Galatasaray, slammed Mourinho for the incident after the game.

As reported by the BBC, he said there was nothing between him and Mourinho to draw such a reaction.

"He pinched my nose from behind. There was a slight scratch. Of course, it wasn't a very nice or elegant thing to do. We expect managers to behave more appropriately in such situations. I won't exaggerate this issue, but it wasn't a classy move."

Meanwhile, Vice President of Galatasaray, Meztin Ortuk is calling for sanctions against the former Chelsea gaffer.

"Our manager Okan and Mourinho congratulated the referees. After that, while Okan was continuing, Mourinho first verbally and then physically attacked him," he said.
"Where else in the world can he do this? What does he think of Turkey? I believe that Fenerbahce's management will impose the necessary sanction before the federation does."

Mourinho has yet to comment on the incident and his snubbing of the post-match conference could be taken many ways.

Afena-Gyan trains with Juve

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Felix Afena Gyan's run with Juventus Next Generation has earned him an opportunity with the first team.

The forward, who has struggled since leaving AS Roma under Mourinho, seems to have rediscovered the form that endeared him to Italian fans.

The 22-year-old has already netted six goals and delivered three assists in 26 Serie C games this season and could be ready for a bigger role at Juve.
