SCOTTLAND F.C coach Tonderai Ndiraya Sunday praised Khama Billiat’s star perfomance after his team’s 1-0 win over Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium.
Known as “Mabviravira”, Scottland’s win over Dynamos saw them picking their second consecutive win in four days following Thursday’s 1-0 victory against Herentals.
Sunday’s win for Scottland was facilitated by team striker Tymon Machope, who benefitted from a Dynamos’ defence lapse in the 47th minute.
Scottland could have made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute, only for Walter Musona to be denied by Dynamos goalkeeper Tatenda Makoni.
Speaking during a post match interview, Scottland FC coach Ndiraya heaped praise on midfielder Billiat.
“Im really amazed by Khama Billiat, you dont think that he is 35-years-old.
“The way he is driving the youngsters and its just unbelievable, so l’m happy for him.
“Hopefully, other players will emulate what Khama is doing. He has been like this since the beginning of the season,” said Ndiraya.
Scottland is now on second position on the log with 19 points, three behind log leaders MWOS, who retained their position after Sunday’s 1-0 win against Chicken Inn at Luveve Stadium.
