Rangers have been put on blast after their latest away day woe with the record on the road branded 'scandalous'.

Philippe Clement has also been handed some honest truths in the scathing address as his side dropped 15 points behind rivals Celtic at the league summit after a 1-1 draw at Dundee under the lights at Dens Park. Brendan Rodgers' men defeated Dundee United 24 hours earlier but the Ibrox men failed to match them - just like last weekend - as the gap between the duo continues to climb.

Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd didn't hold back live on Sky Sports at full-time with the former Rangers striker warning the Belgian his time was 'done' at the club after the latest dropped points while his co-pundit and Record Sport columnist Sutton told viewers that Celtic are LAUGHING at Rangers as he fired a 'Belgian waffle' jibe at Clement.

Now, Billy Dodds has let rip at his old club. He didn't hold back in his assessment of the current situation in Govan while on BBC Sportsound duty for the midweek clash at Dens.

He said: "Rangers' away record is scandalous. It's outrageously poor. You're not putting in a challenge, never mind winning a league title with that sort of away form.

"It's horrendous for a club of Rangers' stature. I know their record at home is good, but you've got to be able to handle every situation.

"It was slow football at the beginning of the season. They rectified that, but now it's as if within games they switch off, 'we've done enough' attitude."
