Gregory Vignal admits he does fear for under fire Rangers boss Philippe Clement and believes the next 10 days could be pivotal in the determining his future at Ibrox.

Wednesday night's damaging 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen has left the Gers nine points adrift of Celtic and the Dons at the top of the table, with large sections of the support now calling for a change in the dugout. Rangers need to lick their wounds quickly ahead of Sunday's meeting with Motherwell at Hampden in the last four of the Premier Sports Cup before heading to Piraeus to take on Olympiacos in the Europa League four days later.

The Light Blues then face Hearts at Ibrox in their final game before the November international break and former full back Vignal - who won a league and cup double in a loan spell in Govan from Liverpool in the 2004/05 season - reckons Clement desperately needs things to go right for hm in the next three games. Speaking on Hotline Live, the Frenchman - who managed Rangers Women between 2019 and 2020 - exclusively told Record Sport's Hotline LIVE: "It is not an easy situation for him.

"He is under massive pressure and the board are as well because of the demand from the fans. There is a big game on Sunday and then a massive one on Thursday. And there is also another one (after) that before the next international break.

"Are you strong enough to survive? That's the big question. What will happen in 10 days time? Who knows. But he is under massive pressure for sure.

"I am very worried for him because I am a manager and I know when you are in a difficult situation and under pressure that you are not living your best life, even for the people who are around you. It's difficult but when you put your signature on the contract as Rangers manager, you can't complain.

"You know it will be a tough job and you know the situation before you sign. If you accept to be the Rangers manager, just crack on. The next 10 days will be really, really intense."
