A furious Ruben Amorim SMASHED a TV in the Manchester United dressing room after their defeat to Brighton at the weekend – and it's reported they still need to fix it before facing Rangers.
The new Old Trafford boss watched his meek side slump to a 3-1 loss on home turf that leaves them floundering in 13th in the Premier League table. He's won just six of his 16 games in charge and speaking after that defeat to Brighton, he branded his team 'maybe the worst' in club history.
The pressure is on ahead of a Europa League Battle of Britain on Thursday and it's said Amorim has read his flops the riot act ahead of that one. And even the poor TV wasn't spared as The Athletic say he smashed it in the dressing room during a raging post-match debrief.
It's added that his out-of-character rant took observers aback and the damage done to the TV will need to be repaired before they face Rangers on Thursday. It's used to go through tactics before kick-off and will be required in the buildup to that game.
Speaking to the media after losing to Brighton, Amorim wore his heart on his sleeve as he said: "In the past 10 games in Premier League, we won two. Imagine what this is for a fan of Manchester United. Imagine what this is for me. We are getting a new coach who is losing more than the last coach. I have full knowledge of that.
"We are the worst team maybe in the history of Manchester United. I know the media want headlines but I am saying that because we have to acknowledge that and to change that. Here you go: your headlines."
