Motherwell have thrown out a £2.5million bid for Lennon Miller from Serie A side Udinese.

Sky Sports News reports that the bid doesn't meet the Fir Park club's valuation for the Scotland under-21 midfielder.

Miller has been an integral part of Stuart Kettlewell's side in the last two seasons, and he is currently sidelined with a fractured ankle.

Kettlewell mentioned last week that he hoped Miller would get his protective boot off this week, and hopes the 18-year-old will be back in the squad before long.
