by · Daily Record

The dust has barely settled on Luke Littler's historic PDC World Darts Championship victory the other night.

The Nuke claimed his first title against Michael Van Gerwen becoming the youngest ever to win the tournament. Now the 17-year-old and his rivals turn their attention towards the 2025 Darts Premier League. Kicking off next month, 17 venues across the UK and Ireland will play host to a number of thrilling matches with the schedule line-up announcement imminent.

The Littler effect will continue to roll on throughout 2025 as the defending champion looks to graduate from a household name into worldwide star - he is just 17 after all. The teen produced a stunning nine-darter on his way to victory last May, and he is set to be joined be seven other players to once again battle it out for both the prestigious title and life-changing prize money. The season-ending play-offs conclude on an action-packed night at The O2 in London on May 29, with the final places up for grabs in the coming days.
