Unfortunately, bantamweight prospect Daniel Santos never made it to the scale to weigh in, forcing matchmakers to cancel his UFC Vegas 105 preliminary fight opposite Davey Grant, who successfully made his mark at 135.5 pounds.

“Dangerous” will likely be paid his “show” purse.

The promotion did not disclose the reason for Santos pulling out; however, it stands to reason the 30 year-old “Willycat” was struggling with his weight cut. Expect more information on that behind-the-scenes drama as it becomes available.
