Highlights! Chris Eubank Jr. topples Conor Benn in explosive ‘Fight of the Year’ thriller

Chris Eubank Jr. delivered one of the best outings of his storied career earlier tonight (Sat., April 26, 2025) LIVE on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, as the middleweight veteran handed Conor Benn his first professional loss in a 12-round battle of grit and attrition.

The bad blood was real between these two fighters. Not only did their fathers share the ring back in the day, but Eubank Jr. delivered an egg to Benn’s head during a pre-fight faceoff back in February. Ever since then the two boxers have been talking trash and creating as much buzz as possible for their main event showdown on Saturday.

Luckily for all involved, this 160-pound matchup delivered some of the best action inside the boxing ring in 2025 thus far. Benn broke out to an early start before Eubank Jr. battled back in the middle frames to put the knockout artist on high alert. Benn returned the favor with a barrage of strikes in the eighth round that badly hurt Eubank Jr. and nearly toppled him over.

Eubank Jr. rebounded yet again to regain control of the fight over the final few rounds to cap off an incredible performance. In the end both fighters should hold their heads high, but it was Eubank Jr. who walked away with the unanimous decision win. It was easily one of the best boxing matches of the year.
