The loss is the first of Benn’s professional boxing career after starting off a perfect 23-0. For Eubank Jr., he has now won three straight fights and improves his overall record to 35-3. There is a rematch clause for the two men, now it remains to be seen if it actual comes to fruition sooner, rather than later.
It truly was a great fight, which was enhanced further by the fact that both Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr. were sitting together ringside watch their sons do work 35 years after their first fight in 1990.
