T20 Asia Cup: India To Face Pakistan In Final Group A Clash Tonight

Dubai, Sep 5: India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the final Group A clash of the T20 Asia Cup at the Dubai International Stadium tonight, with the match scheduled to begin at 8 PM IST.

India have already secured their place in the semi-finals after registering convincing victories over Thailand and Hong Kong in their opening two matches. The team will now aim to maintain its winning momentum and complete the group stage with a perfect record.

Pakistan, meanwhile, have played only one match so far and opened their campaign with a victory over Thailand. They currently have two points in Group A and need one more point from their remaining two matches to secure a semi-final berth. Their final league fixture is against Hong Kong.

The India-Pakistan contest is expected to attract significant attention as the two arch-rivals meet in the tournament.

In another match on Friday, hosts United Arab Emirates defeated Indonesia by six wickets at the Dubai International Stadium. Chasing a target of 72, the UAE reached 75 for four in 13.1 overs.
