Speaking before the match, Nkrumah explained that the players are in a good place mentally despite the pressure of their current position. Chelsea sit 14th on the table with 38 points after 30 games and are pushing to climb higher.
He noted that the technical team has been working closely with the squad to lift their mood and reduce tension ahead of the fixture at home.
"Psychologically, they are sound because if we go to the training grounds we keep on cheering them up so that a lot of pressure leaves them. Yesterday's training we had a discussion and cheered them up before we started training. Everybody knows that our current position is not good so the boys are much focused to that they have to do their best and get the win for Berekum Chelsea," he told Berekum Chelsea media.
Chelsea go into the game with two wins, one draw, and two defeats in their last five matches, while Medeama arrive in stronger form.
